Ryan is officially a Kindergartener!
He felt very special when he found the welcome sign in our yard the evening before his first day of Kindergarten camp.
The kids had three half-days of Kindergarten camp before they assigned classes. He was very excited to go the first day, a little bit hesitant the second, and excited again on the third.
His favorite part of Kindergarten camp was playing kickball with Bradley and Jack.
Over the weekend, they sent out his class assignment and on Monday he had his first full day of school. He got a great teacher, Mrs. Hansen, and has a couple of familiar faces in his class. His favorite part of the first day was getting to see Ellie at recess.
He is going to have a great year. He is such a good listener and always does his best at school. He is very motivated to learn, especially math and reading. I love his reaction when he figures out a math problem or how to read a word. He gets the biggest smile and giggle, and he immediately asks to do another one. I hope he always has that joy in learning. He is the sweetest kid ever and I know he will be kind to everyone he meets at school.
