After three full months of summer, these kids are back in school!
We went to meet the teacher days and visited their new classrooms. We checked out all three Kindergarten classrooms with Ryan since we didn't know which class he would be in yet. Ellie got the teacher she was hoping for, Mrs. Ramsdell, and Emma has an amazing teacher, Ms. Ali, who Ellie and Ryan both had for preschool.
Ryan got to choose the first day breakfast, and he picked Harry Potter donuts from Krispy Kreme.
This is the first year that Ellie and Ryan will be at the same school. They are very excited to be together.
Ready for third grade!
Emma was nervous to move to a new class, and had been saying all summer that she was going to be sick on the first day of school. As fate would have it, she came down with a fever the day before school started and ended up having to stay home on the first day. When her next school day came around on Friday, she was mostly happy to go.
Despite her initial nervousness, she really loves school and had a great first day.
