The first day of our trip to Big Cedar was Emma's birthday. Noni and Papa joined us and we went to the Butterfly Palace, which was a big hit with this new two-year-old.
Ryan was not a fan of so many insects flying around at once.
Emma really liked the lizard room, and especially this little skink.
Next up was putt-putt golf. This was more Ryan's speed.
We had Emma's birthday dinner at Osage.
The sunset ceremony at Top of the Rock was really neat.
The second day, we went to Silver Dollar City.
Georgia's family was there at the same time and we got to meet up with them for a little bit.
The carnival games were a favorite.
The third day, we went to the museum at Top of the Rock and took a nature tour.
Emma stopped every two minutes to take her shoes off.
Ellie braved the hot tub.
We went back for another visit at the Butterfly Palace.
We tried out the resort's pedal boats.
Ellie and Ryan did a painting class at the Kids Activity Center.
On the last day, we went back to Silver Dollar City.
