These two were excited to get to Disney World! It was neat to see the castle off in the distance from our hotel.
When we arrived, we headed straight to the pool.
We took a trip on the monorail to explore the Magic Kingdom area.
Poor Ryan came down with a virus, and got super tired while we were at dinner. He was still under the weather the next day at Magic Kingdom, but he was a trooper.
First day at the parks!
Ellie was so brave. She rode every ride she was tall enough for, at every park. She especially loved Space Mountain.
Ryan had been wanting a Woody toy and we found one at the Space Ranger Spin ride.
Ellie's favorite character lately is Dumbo so she was excited for the Dumbo ride.
The highlight of the day was Ellie's visit to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.
She got the full princess treatment.
After her salon visit, we had pictures taken. The photographer was so sweet and made it fun for the kids.
We left the park as the fireworks were going off. It was a cool view from the monorail.
The next day, we had birthday treats delivered for Ryan.
We went to Hollywood Studios bright and early.
We went to the Star Wars restaurant for snacks.
Ryan thought the droid DJ was hilarious.
He got his very own light saber.
When Chris and Ellie were meeting back up with us after a ride, he liked to hold up his light saber to signal them where we were.
We went back to the hotel for some swimming.
On our third day, we went to Epcot.
Ryan's favorite part of the morning was visiting Club Cool to try different sodas. Ellie's favorite part was riding Guardians of the Galaxy.
We rode the Skyliner to our new hotel.
Ryan loved the pool, especially the water cannon. He rode the kids' water slide about 15 times.
Ellie liked the big water slide.
We went back to Epcot for dinner and a few more rides.
Ryan loved the Finding Nemo ride and the aquarium.
We had Ryan's birthday dinner at Via Napoli and then went on Ratatouille one more time.
The next morning was Ryan's actual birthday, so we had cupcakes for breakfast.
We went to Animal Kingdom and Ryan loved the dinosaur dig area.
We went to lunch with the characters. We almost cancelled it because Ryan wasn't too interested in meeting characters at the other parks, but he and Ellie both loved it.
They both liked the dessert buffet.
Ryan loved Daisy Duck. He blew her a kiss as she was saying goodbye.
Ellie has been watching the Animal Kingdom Veterinarians show on Disney+ so she was really excited for the safari ride.
