On New Year's Day we got a little bit of snow along with negative wind chills. Ellie braved the cold to taste the snow.

While Ryan and I were in DC, Ellie got a special weekend with Daddy. They went to lunch at Fritz's and to the movie theater to see Sing 2.
We finished decorating Ellie's big girl room.

We got our first big snow of the winter and went out to play.
We tried out the pool at Matt Ross Community Center. It was really fun, especially the turtle slide and lazy river.
Ellie had her first eye doctor appointment. She was such a good listener and the doctor said her vision is great.
Ellie's class celebrated Red Friday and made Chiefs crafts.
We got to explore a Leawood Fire Department pumper truck and talk to the fire fighters. 
We went to a luau at Lenexa Public Market with Grandma.
