Scottsdale

We had a great vacation in Scottsdale. We only booked it three days ahead of time, when our trip to Lake Tahoe fell through, but it worked out and the kids loved it.

Our first stop was at this little breakfast place Chris and I liked when we went to Scottsdale ten years ago. It was as delicious as we remembered.
Our hotel had a fun splash pad and tree house.
The kids' club had lots of activities for the holiday weekend.
We went to a coffee shop that had note cards they deliver to patients in the hospital. Ellie worked hard making two sweet notes.
We went to the hotel's family game night, which had airbrush tattoos, balloon animals and snow cones.
The next morning, we went to a donut decorating party.
The kids both loved the pools.
Ellie tried the big water slide.
Ryan loved riding the escalators.
We went out for dinner in downtown Scottsdale.
The hotel had a fun luau where we got to meet Moana.
Scottsdale has a cool train park that Ryan especially loved.
Ellie liked relaxing by the pool with treats.
The desert path was really cool. We saw lots of different lizards out there.
Ryan was a fan of the hotel breakfasts.
Ellie got really independent in the pool. Ryan preferred piggy back rides to using his floatie.
For our last afternoon, we went to the Children's Museum of Phoenix. It had some really fun exhibits.
