July

Ellie and her giraffe were attentive fans at the Sporting KC game.
They had fireworks after the game and Ellie loved it.
On Fourth of July, the parade got rained out but luckily it cleared up for fireworks at Corporate Woods.
Feeding ice cream to her baby doll.
We had a fun afternoon downtown at Parlor and Christopher Elbow.
Swimming with Penguin at Brad and Libby's pool.
 Breakfast at First Watch
We love our Nori dog.
Ellie earned a cake pop from Starbucks and was pretty delighted about it.
Sesame Street came to town with a block party in front of the Nelson.
Sunset as we were leaving the Royals game.
My pool buddy.
Ellie is super into picnics right now and asks to have them every day. This one featured cupcake decorating.
Chris and I went to Chicago for Mark and Allison's wedding so Grandma came to stay with Ellie.
The last day she was here we went to Lake Quivira and out to breakfast at McLain's.
The next weekend, Grandpa came to visit. We had fun taking him to the train restaurant, the Zoo, the Royals game, and Scheels.
He also got to go on walks with Nori and watch Frozen three times. It was a great visit.
Ellie had her first visit to the dentist and did awesome. She was so grown up answering their questions and doing what they asked.
Celebrating healthy teeth with a nice sugary cookie.
We went grape picking at the vineyard and Ellie was a great helper.
One of the other people out picking brought her sweet puppy, Hamilton, and Ellie was lucky enough to get to play with him.
She totally fell in love with him and it was really hard to say goodbye at the end of the night.
