At the beginning of April, Chris and I went to Vermont to visit Alex and Ellie stayed with Noni and Papa for three nights. She had lots of fun with them.
Showing Noni her artwork on the wall at school.
Noni took Ellie to bring treats to the firefighters at the fire station. She loved it and talks about it all the time.
Ellie got to go to the Zoo with Noni, Papa, Uncle Drew and Uncle Matt.
Meanwhile, Chris and I got to explore Vermont with Alex. On our first day we went to the Ben & Jerry's factory and walked around Burlington.
The second day we went to Waitsfield and Stowe, and had lunch at the Von Trapp Lodge.
Our last stop was Montpelier. We had a great time.
Ellie loves the dog park almost as much as Nori.
Noni hosted an Easter party with Amy and Alison. Ellie really liked decorating eggs.
Ellie's school had a parade to kick off the Week of the Young Child.
We went to back-to-back sports with a Royals game with Matt and Elizabeth on Saturday and a Sporting KC game with Libby and Katie on Sunday. It was a good weekend.
The Week of the Young Child celebrations continued with a special puppet show on Monday and a family picnic with Noni on Wednesday.
My messy eater.
We met Chris for lunch and Ellie was in heaven.
Friday was pajama day at school.
Ellie and I had a fun morning at Nell Hill's and lunch at Fritz's with Noni.
Grandma came to town and brought Easter presents. Ellie loves her play tent.
We had a fun day at the Zoo.
We went to the Royals game. Ellie was excited to meet Slugger but wasn't so sure about him once we got close. He convinced Grandma and Daddy to take a picture with him instead.
