Christmas

We had a great trip to DC for Christmas! Ellie is at a hard age for travel but most of the time she was a trooper. Right before I took this picture she threw a major tantrum in the TSA line but then she was great on the plane.
She got her own seat for the first time, which she thought was pretty cool.
Our first stop was dinner at Cafe Deluxe with Gigi, Grandma and Dave.
On the way out of the restaurant, we saw the local fire department driving by with Santa. Ellie thought it was pretty cool.
We loved staying at the condo with Gigi. Ellie had the best time with her.
The next day we visited Grandpa and Lena at their new house and got some energy out in their playroom. Then we went downtown to meet up with Gigi, Grandma and Dave. Ellie enjoyed visiting Milk Bar for the first time.
We spent the afternoon playing golf at CitySwing.
Ellie found a firefighter hat in Grandpa and Lena's playroom.
We got to meet baby Kira for the first time. She is so sweet.
Playing hide and seek with Milo.
Grandpa and Lena hosted a big Christmas Eve dinner.
Ellie and Daddy on Christmas!
Ellie thoroughly enjoyed opening her Christmas gifts.
Dave got her Gabby and Nori Christmas ornaments.
Christmas isn't complete without lots of dessert.
The day after Christmas we went to the Air and Space Museum.
Ellie loves Sophie.
Ellie had fun visiting Milo and Kira, and playing with Stella.
Rob and Priya came down from New York and Ellie showed them the awesome park in Grandma's neighborhood. Gigi was a great sport on the spinner toy!
We had a yummy dinner at Casolare.
The Philz coffee in Bethesda was our favorite walk destination.
Ellie wanted to sit on Grandma's lap for every meal.
Exploring Bethesda with Grandma.
On the way home, Ellie was great in the airport but threw a big, long tantrum on the plane. Poor girl was worn out from her big week in DC.
