The first week of May we visited the Brookside Art Fair.
We went out to dinner to celebrate Chris's birthday.
The next day we went to the Royals game. Ellie seemed to really like it.
My mom came into town for work that week. She sent us out to celebrate Chris's birthday at Michael Smith.

Later that week Ellie had to go to Children's Mercy to get her blood drawn. I felt awful for her but she was a brave girl.
We got to see the Barnard family for a quick visit when they were flying out of Kansas City.
